Question about root-servers.org

Hello there, Hope this is a good place to ask this :-) difficult to imagine a better place. Excuse my question, I promise that I ask it 100% in good faith. My question is: how reliable/accurate the page: https://root-servers.org is?. I mean, I assume that the information is correct, you (not pointing anybody in particular) try to keep it as updated as possible but sometimes I have been told that there are countries that have X root servers but on root-servers.org it says that they have N. I guess the information is not updated immediately but approximately how much time to update a country/city it takes when a new root server is installed/removed? Are there any chances for example a root server got broken 3 years ago still listed (or vice verse, got installed but not listed)?. Thanks again, Alejandro,

Dear RSSAC Caucus members, ICANN community groups have been invited to nominate one individual each to serve as a NextGen@ICANN program mentor. NextGen@ICANN mentors will serve at three ICANN meetings in 2023 (ICANN76, 77, and 78). Mentors cannot serve on the NextGen@ICANN Selection Committee at the same time they are serving as mentors. Current NextGen@ICANN mentor appointed by RSSAC is Dessalegn Yehuala. Dessalegn will be completing his second one-year term in this role at the conclusion of ICANN75. Reminder OARC 38 - Call for Contribution

*Reminder: Deadline for abstract submission - June 20, 23:59 UTC ** ** **Please note that we are looking for contributions and remote participation is actively supported.* ******************************************************************************************** OARC38 will be a two-day hybrid meeting held on July 30th and 31st, 2022 starting at 10 am (Eastern). The onsite part of the meeting will be co-located with IETF 114 (Philadelphia). The Programme Committee is seeking contributions from the community. All DNS-related subjects and suggestions for discussion topics are welcome. For inspiration, we provide a non-exhaustive list of ideas: - Operations: Any operational gotchas, lessons learned from an outage, details/reasons for a recent outage (how to improve TTR, tooling). - Deployment: DNS config management and release process. - Monitoring: Log ingestion pipeline, analytics infrastructure, anomaly detection. - Scaling: DNS performance management and metrics.
