Dear RSSAC Caucus members, We regret to inform you about the tragic passing of our friend and colleague, Paul Muchene. Paul unexpectedly passed away recently. Paul became an RSSAC Caucus member in January 2017. He was a regular participant of RSSAC Caucus meetings. Most recently, Paul contributed to drafting of “RSSAC056: RSSAC Advisory on Rogue DNS Operators” and “RSSAC047v2: RSSAC Advisory on Metrics for the DNS Root Servers and the Root Server System”. In February 2020, Paul joined the ICANN Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) team. We will remember him for his enthusiasm, energy, and dedication and his professional contributions to ICANN in the Middle East and Africa region. RSSAC Caucus Membership Survey

(This message has been sent on behalf of the RSSAC Caucus Membership Committee) The RSSAC annual work plan<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/rssac-work-plan-04jan22-en.pdf> suggests the RSSAC Caucus Membership Committee to conduct an annual membership survey for the RSSAC Caucus in August/September. The goal is to evaluate the level of engagement in the RSSAC Caucus every year. You will receive a link to the survey from Ozan Sahin, support staff for the RSSAC Caucus Membership Committee, shortly. The survey will take between 7 to 10 minutes to complete depending on any comments you may provide. Please complete the survey by Wednesday, 31 August 2022. We plan to present the findings from the survey and discuss next steps with you at the RSSAC Caucus meeting during ICANN75. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
