Dear RSSAC Caucus Members, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Mohibul Mahmud, and I’m honored to have recently joined the RSSAC Caucus. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and express my enthusiasm for contributing to the important work of the Caucus. I am currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Microsoft, based in Montreal, Canada, with over 25 years of experience in Internet infrastructure, DNS administration and cybersecurity. My technical journey began with DNS and network operations in the ISP sector, where I was involved in supporting F-Root Server deployment at BDIX in Bangladesh and managing BIND-based DNS infrastructure. My current focus areas include cloud monitoring, observability, and system stability—all of which align closely with the mission and technical priorities of the RSSAC. I’ve also been actively involved in Internet governance, having served as an ICANN82 Fellow, ARIN52 Fellow, and participant in various policy forums. I’m particularly interested in joining work parties, contributing to ongoing publications, and learning from the collective expertise of this community. There is travel support for up to four (4) RSSAC Caucus Members to attend IETF 124 including economy class airfare, accommodation, registration, and per diem: https://www.ietf.org/meeting/124/ In 2019, RSSAC approved guidelines for RSSAC Caucus members requesting travel support to attend even-numbered IETF meetings. Proposed addition to RSSAC001v3 for expectations from RSSAC061

Greetings again. During the RSSAC001v3 work party call yesterday, we discussed possibly adding the expectation from RSSAC061 to RSSAC001v3. There was a discussion about whether to add a new section, new callouts in existing sections, or both. My initial proposal is just the first; here is my proposed text. ===== 3.9 Changing IP Addresses [E.3.9-A] Each RSO is expected to adhere to all of the expectations listed in RSSAC061, "Guidelines for Changing IP Addresses". RSSAC061 gives guidance and expectations for RSOs that have already changed service IP addresses, and for those that will change service IP addresses in the future. The expectations in RSSAC061 are incorporated here by reference. These expectations can affect those already in Sections 3.2 and 3.3 of this document. ===== Comments are welcome. --Paul Hoffman

Greetings again. During the RSSAC001v3 work party call yesterday, we discussed possibly combining expectations 3.1.B and 3.2.A. To do this, I propose copying the descriptive text from the beginning of 3.2 ("An RSO is expected to choose hardware, software, and other components that allow it to meet the protocol and deployment requirements specified in BCP 40.") to the end of the paragraph in 3.1 that starts "BCP 40 describes...", removing [E.3.2-A] entirely, and relettering the expectations in the rest of 3.2 up one letter.
