Hello all I have just completed the draft short version of the minutes. These are very short (6 pages for a full day's meeting) and do not show detail of the discussion, but as requested in the meeting today, focus on providing a little bit of context to the actions and decisions of the meeting. Revised Text on Question about ICG and ICANN board

What is the role of the ICANN board in preparing the proposal? The ICG is independent of the ICANN board. The board is represented on the ICG by two liaisons, who are there to provide information about the IANA functions and to keep the board and ICG informed about the implications of the transition. Like any other member of the community, the ICANN board can submit public comments to the ICG about the final proposal. Consistent with U.S. federal government procurement rules, the NTIA needs to have the final proposal submitted to it by the ICANN board, but the board is not authorized to modify or approve the ICG's proposal. When the ICG submits its final proposal to ICANN, it will also be released to the general public and to NTIA as well. Milton L Mueller Laura J. and L. Dear All .. Please find attached a reviewed version of the FAQ reflecting the discussion during our face-to-face meeting in LA .. Until I double check with the transcripts, I hope the attached reflects everything accurately .. Apologies in advance for anything I may have overlooked .. This is not yet in dropbox as I would like to know how the file naming should be after we have already had a final version .. I have tried to conclude the exchange on the role of the Board in preparing the proposal .. The text in square brackets are 2 alternatives as suggested by Milton and Jean-Jacques .. 15. What is the role of the ICANN Board in preparing the proposal? The ICG is independent of the ICANN Board. The Board is represented on the ICG by one liaison. Subscription mechanism for "icg-forum" archive?

Colleagues, Yesterday I shared the message below on the RIR community ianaxfer list, to draw attention to ICG submissions which have been sent so far (as invited in the announcement here: https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2014-08-08-en) The first reply I received was a request for an email subscription mechanism, so that people don’t have to continually check this site for new submissions. I think this would be very useful, so I wonder if others agree, and if so whether a subscription mechanism can be set up by the Secretariat? thanks! ICG Charter on website, and other documents

Dear all, I find that the ICG Charter is not easy to find. This link is included in the RFP, but I don’t see in anywhere obvious on the website. https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/charter-icg-27aug14-en.pdf Could secretariat add a link to the “Coordination Group” page. On the same topic of easy navigation, could there also be a page for "ICG Documents” with links to the Charter and RFP and (I suggest) the others that we have stored under “Distributed Documents" on Dropbox. (as an alternative, this could be a separate “Documents” section on the “Transition Resources” page).
