This is update you on a variety of items for the IRT work:
Group 1 Recommendations: Section 3.3 URS Procedure
As agreed on the previous call, the team put together a flowchart of how we understand the complaint amendment step occurs in the process, and are asking the URS providers to confirm that this is how it works. As you may recall, this is in the context of our discussion about the details of how a complaint can be amended once contact information is received. We will share when we receive confirmation from the providers.
Group 2 Recommendations: Educational Materials and Trademark Claims Notice
As noted in the previous call and Sherwood’s latest message, we asked for any inputs by 20 June; we have now received these and shared with ICANN’s Communications team for its review. We will then share with the IRT to close out those items.
Meetings and Calls
We are retooling again with staff resources as Sherwood is no longer with ICANN. This means we will likely have the next IRT meeting in August, as we adjust staff coverage for the RPM work. However, we had also done some preparation on the Group 3 recommendations, so by the time we meet again we should have new information on all of the above to discuss.
