Provide Your Input! Public Comments for Draft ICANN Strategic Plan for FY26-30 Now Open

Hello Community-Finance subscribers, We are happy to announce that the Draft ICANN Strategic Plan and Operating Plan Framework for FY26-30 is open for Public Comment. The publishing of these drafts is a big milestone, and we appreciate the community’s involvement in this process. Throughout the development of these plans, the BSPC along with the ICANN Planning team held multiple sessions to receive input from the community. We are once again looking to receive your feedback through our Public Comment process. We will hold two webinars where we will walk through our Draft FY26-30 Strategic Plan and Draft FY26-30 Operating Plan Framework documents and provide the community an opportunity to ask questions. The webinars have been scheduled to accommodate varying time zones. Upcoming Public Comment Period for Draft Strategic and Operating Plan – Starting 23 July

Dear Community Members: Based on the feedback we received during consultations at the ICANN 80 Kigali meeting, we have made some amendments to our plans. As a result, we are pleased to announce that the Public Comment period for the draft ICANN Strategic Plan and draft ICANN Operational Plan for fiscal years 2026–2030 will now begin on 23 July. This is an important opportunity for you to review and provide feedback on these critical documents. We apologize for any inconvenience this change in date may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience. In the coming days, we will publish a detailed blog post that will provide more information about the draft plans. Additionally, we will host two informational webinars following the launch of the Public Comment period to further discuss the content and answer any initial questions you may have.
