Transparency on the Updated Assumptions in the Adopted ICANN FY26 Budget

Dear Community members: Community participation and engagement in ICANN's planning process is a cornerstone of our transparency and accountability to our stakeholders. On 23 May 2025, ICANN issued a blog<https://www.icann.org/en/blogs/details/transparency-on-the-updated-assumpti…> as a follow up to the recent announcement<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-board-adopts-fy2630-op…> published on 3 May 2025 that the ICANN Board adopted the ICANN FY26–30 Operating and Financial Plan, ICANN FY26 Operating Plan and Budget, and IANA FY26 Operating Plan and Budget (collectively, the 2026 ICANN Plans). To address community input since the publication of the adopted 2026 ICANN Plans, and to enhance the transparency on the revisions made from the versions posted for public comment, the FY26 Operating Plan and Budget Table of Changes<https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/projfinadhocws/pages/1066…> has been expanded to include additional explanations and is now published along with a short presentation on the ICANN Finance and Planning Community Group Workspace<https://icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/projfinadhocws/pages/1066…> In addition, on 28 May 2025, the ICANN Planning and Finance team held a ICANN83 Prep Week webinar<https://icann83.sched.com/event/23LLb/finance-and-planning-update>, where the revisions of the adopted the ICANN FY26–30 Operating and Financial Plan and the ICANN FY26 Operating Plan and Budget (collectively, the 2026 ICANN Plans) were presented. ICANN Publishes Fiscal Year 2025 Third-Quarter Management Financial Results

Dear Community Members, The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published its fiscal year 2025 (FY25) third-quarter (Q3) management financial results. ICANN has also published the FY25 Q3 management financial results for its Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) affiliate. Funding through March 2025 was higher than budget and higher than the same period in the previous year, driven by higher-than-planned transactions, registrar accreditation and application fees, and a registry fee increase that took place in January 2025. ICANN Operations expenses through March 2025 are lower than budget and lower than the same period last year, driven by the actions ICANN has taken to improve its financial sustainability. ICANN's quarterly financial results include ICANN Operations and other segments such as the New gTLD Program, the ICANN Grant Program, and projects funded by the Supplemental Fund for the Implementation of Community Recommendations.
