Red Cross update public comment to open on 23 October 2019

Dear IRT, Thanks to Stéphane for the re-submissions for the new names. We’ve now converted all names to the DNS Labels and you will find them posted in the IRT wiki. https://community.icann.org/display/IIPIRT/Red+Cross+Identifier+Lists+-+For… With this, all of our preparation work is complete and ready to proceed with the Public Comment part of our implementation. https://docs.google.com/document/d/11lba9ltTi2CJ8l70QWu7R_xUiAAmNPViCc-ADcP… We are targeting 23 October 2019 to open and 12 December 2019 to close. The 50-day comment duration factors in the ICANN66 and US Holidays for Thanksgiving. With this, I believe there is no need for an IRT meeting in October. Andrea can send a reminder for the cancellation as needed. For those traveling to Montreal, safe travel and let’s get together to celebrate this milestone. Thank you again for everyone’s support. I believe this will go down in history as the largest number of names to be in reservation. Every time I hear Red Cross in the news, I am reminded and humbled to be a part of the great cause. Dear Members of the Reconvened IRT, We herewith wish to request that the list of reserved National Red Cross and Red Crescent identifiers for the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia (formally known as the “Macedonia Red Cross”) be revised and complemented.
