Dear Community Members, We invite you to join a public webinar on 14 September 2021 at 18:00 UTC to learn more about the work of the ICANN Board Finance Committee. The webinar will be one hour with a short presentation and then members will welcome questions from the community. ICANN Board Adopts FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and FY22 Operating Plan and Budget

Dear ICANN Community: Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-board-adopts-fy22-26-o…> that the ICANN Board of Directors has adopted ICANN's FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and FY22 Operating Plan and Budget. The FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan outlines the feasibility and timing of services, activities, and milestones identified to achieve the objectives and goals outlined in the ICANN Strategic Plan FY21-25<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/strategic-plan-2021-2025-24jun1…>. The FY22 Operating Plan and Budget provides greater detail on the planned activities and resources for the upcoming fiscal year starting 1 July 2021 and ending 30 June 2022. The operating and budget documents include: * Highlights of the FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and FY22 Operating Plan and Budget. * ICANN FY22-26 Operating Plan and FY22 Operating Plan. * ICANN FY22 Budget. Under ICANN's Bylaws<https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/governance/bylaws-en>, the Empowered Community may consider whether it will reject any of the plans adopted by the ICANN Board. If no Empowered Community rejection process is pending, then the adopted plans will go into effect on 1 July 2021. Community participation and engagement in ICANN's planning process is a cornerstone of transparency and accountability to the public. ICANN Publishes U.S. Tax Returns for Fiscal Year Ending 30 June 2020

Dear ICANN Community, On May 11th , ICANN and its affiliate Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) published several returns required by the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS), California Franchise Tax Board, and California Attorney General's office for nonprofit organizations for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2020. IRS Form 990, the U.S. tax form that nonprofit organizations exempt from income taxes are required to file, was filed for ICANN and its affiliate pursuant to section 501(c) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The California CA-199 and CA RRF-1 returns, which nonprofit organizations are required to file, were filed for ICANN and its affiliate with the appropriate government offices, including the California Franchise Tax Board and the California Attorney General's office. Dear ICANN Community: An announcement<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-publishes-the-proposed…> has been published today on icann.org that the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and FY22 Operating Plan and Budget have been sent to the ICANN Board and have been published on the public comment page as noted below: Today, the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers organization (ICANN org) published<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/draft-opplan-budget-fy22-26-2020-12-1…> the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and the FY22 Operating Plan and Budget, which will be considered for adoption by the Board in mid-May. Publishing the Proposed for Adoption plans is an important step in ensuring transparency by showing exactly what changed in the first drafts, prior to their adoption by the Board. These versions have taken into consideration the Public Comments, and where appropriate and feasible, have incorporated them into the Proposed for Adoption plans. There were, however, no significant changes to the FY22 Draft Plans posted in December 2020. Please refer to this revised document, which highlights<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/highlights-proposed-op-financia…> in detail the changes made. Additionally, please see the staff report<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/draft-opplan-budget-fy22-26-2020-12-1…> on Public Comments published in March 2021. The Board is expected to consider the Proposed for Adoption FY22-26 Operating and Financial Plan and the FY22 Operating Plan and Budget during an upcoming Board meeting in mid-May. ICANN published staff report on the public comment proceeding for Draft FY22 Plans

Dear ICANN Community: Today, ICANN organization (org) published the staff report on the public comment proceeding of ICANN's draft FY22-26 Operating & Financial Plan, and the draft FY22 Operating Plan and Budget.
