Hello Community-Finance, We are happy to announce that the ICANN Board adopted the ICANN FY27–31 Operating and Financial Plan, ICANN FY27 Operating Plan and Budget, and IANA FY27 Operating Plan and Budget on 3 May 2026. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the development of these plans. Dear ICANN Community: ICANN has published<https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/draft-fy23-27-operating-…> revised versions of the following documents on the Public Comment page: the ICANN FY27–31 Operating and Financial Plan, the ICANN FY27 Operating Plan and Budget, the IANA FY27 Operating Plan and Budget, and a Highlights document. A summary report of Public Comments was published on 2 April 2026. Publishing these revised plans is an important step to ensure transparency and show how the comments received through the Public Comment process were addressed. As a result of Public Comments, text updates to increase clarity were made to the ICANN FY27–31 Operating and Financial Plan and the ICANN FY27 Operating Plan. Also, after reassessing the funding forecast, a positive US$4 million adjustment was made to FY27 Funding (from US$161 million to US$165 million). No changes were made to the expenses that remain at US$161 million; the additional funding is planned to result in a surplus that would be transferred to the Supplemental Fund for Implementation of Community Recommendations (SFICR) upon completion of the fiscal year and Board approval. A detailed table of changes is included in the Highlights document as well as on the Finance and Planning Wiki. ICANN will host a community webinar on 23 April 2026 from 15:00–16:00 UTC to review the revised plans ahead of presenting to the Board Finance Committee and then will be presented to the ICANN Board for consideration in May 2026. The webinar will be recorded. ICANN Publishes Public Comment Summary Report and Announces Informational Webinar

Dear Community-Finance Mailing List: ICANN published the Public Comment Summary Report for the draft ICANN FY27–31 Operating & Financial Plan, the draft ICANN FY27 Operating Plan and Budget, and the draft IANA FY27 Operating Plan and Budget. The proceeding ran from 16 December 2025 to 12 February 2026. The report has been published on the Public Comment Proceeding page. ICANN plans to publish the Proposed for Adoption ICANN FY27–31 Operating & Financial Plan, ICANN FY27 Operating Plan and Budget, and the IANA FY27 Operating Plan and Budget documents on the Public Comment Proceeding page on 22 April 2026 so the community has an opportunity to review the documents before the Board takes decision in early May 2026. Additionally, ICANN will then host an informational webinar on 23 April 15:00-16:00 UTC to present the community's input and the updated plans. The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be posted on the ICANN Finance and Planning Community Group Workspace. ICANN encourages the community to register to attend this webinar. Dear Community- Finance Mailing List Members, The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) invites the community to participate in an informational webinar about the draft operating and financial plans for fiscal year 2027 (FY27). The webinar will provide an overview of the draft plans for ICANN and Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) which will be posted for separate, concurrent Public Comments on 16 December 2025. ICANN's Annual Operating Plan and Budget sets forth the focus of effort and organizational commitment for the published fiscal year. ICANN's Annual Operating Plan and Budget includes the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) and PTI Annual Operating Plan and Budget. The separate IANA FY27 Operating Plan and Budget and PTI FY27 Operating Plan and Budget include the itemization of costs associated with delivery of the IANA functions. Introducing the Draft Framework for Revisions to the Operating Plan and Budget

Dear Community-Finance Mailing List, Last week we posted the Draft Framework for Revisions to the Operating Plan and Budget on our Finance and Planning Community Wiki. We introduced this document during our ICANN84 Prep Week webinar. Following the adoption of the FY26 Operating Plan and Budget, ICANN prepared a document to formalize the procedure for revisions within the annual planning process. This document, titled “Draft Framework for Revisions to the Operating Plan and Budget,” was developed to ensure that if revisions are made to the Operating Plan or Budget following the end of the Public Comment period, the revisions are tracked and communicated in a clear manner. ICANN is committed to ensuring that the community and public are fully aware of revisions, if any. The draft of this document is being presented to the community at ICANN84 for feedback. We encourage your review and participation in our engagement of this topic. We will have our next community webinar on 17 December 2025. The webinar will provide the opportunity for the community to speak on this drafted process as well as to get information about our Public Comment proceeding. Transparency on the Updated Assumptions in the Adopted ICANN FY26 Budget

Dear Community members: Community participation and engagement in ICANN's planning process is a cornerstone of our transparency and accountability to our stakeholders. On 23 May 2025, ICANN issued a blog<https://www.icann.org/en/blogs/details/transparency-on-the-updated-assumpti…> as a follow up to the recent announcement<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-board-adopts-fy2630-op…> published on 3 May 2025 that the ICANN Board adopted the ICANN FY26–30 Operating and Financial Plan, ICANN FY26 Operating Plan and Budget, and IANA FY26 Operating Plan and Budget (collectively, the 2026 ICANN Plans).
