Mary Wong:@Carlton, none of this would change the 1 Dec effective date - however, to the extent that the Board subsequently agrees to the GNSO request to put the privacy/proxy aspect to our IRT, I believe that Compliance will allow for that flexibility. Luc Seufer:it would be good to have some from Asia... where the language can be a barrier for PPSAI providers to handle requests Mary Wong:If it helps, any request from the Board/GNSO to handle the privacy/proxy aspects of IRTP within our IRT will be strictly bounded as such - any new or additional policy issues that may arise in the course of doing so will not be for the IRT to solve; ICANN's existing Consensus Policy Implementation Framework allows for how that will be handled e.g. referral back to the GNSO for policy work. I've attached: * The call chat transcript; * The slide deck from the call; * The v1 Policy outline document that we discussed on the call; and * The Policy recommendations summary document that I referenced on the call. [For those of you who were not on the call, this document summarizes the Policy recommendations from the Final Report. I organized the recommendations by category (noted on each tab) to hopefully make this easier to manage. Notes from the WG are highlighted in this sheet in yellow to distinguish notes from recommendations. There is no special meaning to the rows highlighted in blue-I just attempted to alternate colors of rows for each recommendation to make the sheet easier to read. Hello, All, It was great to see those of you who were in Hyderabad, and I hope that everyone had a safe trip home. Materials from both the ICANN57 project overview session <https://community.icann.org/display/IRT/4+November+2016%3A+ICANN57+Privacy+ and+Proxy+Services+Accreditation+Overview+Session> and the IRT working meeting <https://community.icann.org/display/IRT/9+November+2016%3A+IRT+Working+Meet ing%2C+ICANN57> are available on the wiki. For those of you who could not attend, I encourage you to listen to the recordings. There was general agreement among those in attendance that the contract-based framework proposed for the accreditation of privacy and proxy services fulfills the intent of the Final Recommendations. We are leaving this topic open for your input until 28 November. If you have any further comments on this point, please send it to the list no later than that date. Provided no issues are raised on this approach, we will begin digging into the substance of this project on our next call, scheduled for 14:00 UTC on 29 November.
