Dear IRT, Our PPSAI IRT session has been published on the ICANN81 Istanbul schedule. https://icann81.sched.com/event/1p2G1 Please register for the session to attend remotely or in-person. As we discussed, we’ll be devoting the hour-long session to sharing and learning the current PP practice. Answering the call for volunteers to share are: * Owen Smigelski (Namecheap) * Margie Milam (Meta) * Reg Levy (Tucows) I’ve reached out this team to begin coordinating and planning for the session. We’ll have about 15 minutes per person and provide time for others attending (non-IRT members) that are in the business of PP Services. It will be a good public session getting to know what is really happening out there today. For us to produce an implementation model that is aligned with recommendations that works in today’s PP environment is highly challenging as we are seeing. We thank the presenters for sharing their insights. Please invite your practitioner colleagues to the session. I hope for a largr participation to confirm or correct our assumptions and contribute to the discussion for our implementation. Dennis, I had a comment marked as a “Concern” in the Google document that appears to have been removed, or at least I cannot find it. The substance of the Concern was that there should be a standard or set of best practices that should be followed in making a decision concerning disclosure. Dear IRT, At today’s IRT meeting, we called for volunteers to present at the ICANN81. 20241003b Call for Volunteers for ICANN81 sharing of current practice. Reply to IRT email. 10 Oct 2024 The ICANN81 IRT session will be open and it’s an opportunity to share with the IRT and the community how Privacy Proxy Services work today. We agreed early in this project that it’s important for us to understand how this service works today before designing an implementation model. We’ve heard from many that much has changed since 2016 when the last IRT worked on implementation. We’d like to hear from Registrars, Privacy Proxy Service providers, and others business entities serving this are of business.
