The CWG-Stewardship held briefing webinars on the first draft proposal on 3-4 December 2014, and subsequently received nearly 60 public comments. Following the close of the public comment period, the CWG-Stewardship reviewed the comments and continued to work at an intense pace to prepare its transition proposal, through more than 30 teleconferences, a working session at ICANN 52 in Singapore in February, a face-to-face meeting in Istanbul in March and, most recently, during a two-day meeting block with over 12 hours of conferences to converge on the 2nd draft proposal. With the aim to submit its final proposal to the IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group (ICG) by the close of ICANN 53 in June, the CWG-Stewardship highlights the importance of broader community input of their draft, for which the group has received independent legal counsel for structural considerations and external expertise to bolster operational sections. The CWG-Stewardship will hold two identical webinars at different times to facilitate participation across time zones. All, I am requesting regional consensus on appointing Judith Hellerstein to the Secretariat post being immediately vacated by Evan Leibovitch who needs to move and begin a new position with the U.N. Judith's service would be the remainder of the election cycle, meaning all the teleconferences and ICANN meetings between now and the October At-Large officer transition at the Dublin meeting. Judith has been serving in the post for several months and I wholly support her appointment. Please express consensus on the NARALO email list. Dear All, At-Large Staff, on behalf of Evan Leibovitch, Acting NARALO Chair, would like to announce the following: This is the formal Call for Nominations [including self - nominations] on various elected/selected positions within NARALO. This call is being made in accordance with the NARALO Operating Principles (https://community.icann.org/x/Z44i) The selection procedures for NARALO Chair, Secretariat, ALAC Member and Nominating Committee (NomCom) delegate are detailed below. If you would like to nominate someone or to put yourself forward for selection, please post on the NA-DISCUSS Mailing List. Previous nominations will not be considered. Anyone self-nominating or accepting a nomination is expected to submit a brief statement explaining why they believe they are a suitable candidate and must also complete or update their Statement of Interest to be posted at At - Large SOI Workspace<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+New+SOIs+Workspace>. The process can be monitored at https://community.icann.org/x/dwgnAw. POSITIONS * NARALO Chair: Currently held by Garth Bruen (due to Garth's leave of absence Interim Chair currently is Evan Leibovitch). Current term ends on 22 October 2015 at the end of the 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The new term starts immediately after the end of the current term and continues until the end of the 2016 AGM.
