I think it would be a good idea for a future NARALO meeting, for the authors of this paper to introduce it and present/defend its findings: Not Fit-For-Purpose: The Grand Experiment of Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives in Corporate Accountability, Human Rights and Global Governance <https://www.msi-integrity.org/not-fit-for-purpose/> Given recent NARALO discussions that have framed ICANN's accountability purely as an exercise of entrenching vested interests, perhaps a briader, more-thoughtful examination of ICANN's true societal accountability (and lack thereof) is in order. On behalf of the CBWG leadership, this is a call for interested community members willing to share a specific story, or case study, with the working group. Specifically, we seek real-life stories where cultural differences have impacted communication and how those situations were resolved. The CBWG plans to incorporate these real-life experiences into their ongoing trainings navigating the art of small talk in a multicultural environment. Community members are requested to please indicate their interest to share their real-life story of challenging communication in a multicultural environment, and also send a brief summary of their story, to At-Large Staff by Friday, 21 January 2022.
