ISOC-NY Panel on Public Interest Commitments

At-Large, Next month (December) ISOC-NY is sponsoring a panel on the topic of Public Interest Commitments. At this point there will be three segments to the panel: * General introduction and update on PICs and their role and status at ICANN. * A look at the .pharmacy TLD and its possible on American health. * Finally, City-PICs will take a look at the 2,000 Premium Names that have been set aside for .nyc and the prospect of getting PICs linked into some or all of them, e.g. require local news on news.nyc. If anyone has a contribution to make in preparation for the panel, especially if you know of people in the city who have focused on the issue and might be willing to participate, please let me know.
