Slides on Key Policy Issues in the At-Large Community

Dear All, As you recall from previous Outreach and Engagement calls, the approach towards community onboarding will require 4 sets of onboarding documents 1. What is the DNS? How it works - there's a lot of misunderstanding and understanding DNS is key to then identify... 2. Policy challenges/issues in the DNS WHOIS, IDNs, new gTLDs, etc 3. Who coordinates all of this stuff This is where we introduce entities like ICANN the corporation and ICANN the community, PTI, 4. ICANN At-Large - Representing end users interests We've already done work on the 4 item which is the Introduction to At-Large. Here's the 1st draft of Policy challenges/issues in the DNS https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1XqbvBYdWWC9ZE3MKu_tmVoQ7yOu9o2MrAL-… Its based on the Why end users should care document.The approach is for three slides for each topic: - Policy Summary, - Why should I care - At-Large Involvement with links to the comments, the relevant WG , maybe more informational links to learn more about the issue Thoughts, comments? Updating the Introduction to At-Large Slides for March 2017

Dear All, Been updating the Introduction to At-Large slides for March 2017. I've updated various stats (the number of alses, policy advice topics, CCWGs ) See https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1AGL_411UrYQvMGREBbBlEaUwmAUYnKsDP0Q… Comments, suggestions welcomed. A key question is whether one of the activities we have identified on slide 9 "Policy Advice Development" should be reworded to something else. This is in light of the ITEMS At-Large Review Draft Report (https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/atlarge- review-draft-report-31jan17-en.pdf). Pages 22 and 23 of the draft report highlights how At-Large uses the term Policy Advice to encompass various types of statements the ALAC produces. Hence my question. Dev Anand

Help needed to update the At-Large Organisational Diagram graphic

Dear All, In updating the slides for the Introduction to At-Large, the current slide has the old At-Large Organisational Diagram https://www.dropbox.com/s/zj62i0l9cj8j52k/at-large-org-diagram-old.png The At-Large Brochure has a better At-Large orgnaisational diagram - see https://www.dropbox.com/s/vsb6oq8qgmkjlfx/at-large-org-diagram.png but this diagram doesn't exist for insertion as a full page slide on a white background like the old organisational diagram without significant blurring and using a non-white background.
