Hi all, I first became involved with ICANN in 2011 and attended my first ICANN meeting in 2012. I am Director of Consulting & Strategy at FairWinds Partners. FairWinds helps Fortune 500 companies promote and protect their brands online. My main focus has been on the New gTLD Program, specifically assisting our clients apply and operate new gTLDs. Dear all, Our IT colleagues have confirmed that there was indeed an issue with certain Mailman mailing lists earlier today that occurred between 1600 UTC – 2100 UTC. We are informed that the system causing this issue has been fixed, and should not be occurring any longer. Hi folks, I just received, in a batch, approximately 10 emails from the mailing list that were sent 5 hours ago....was there a mailing list technical issue causing some delays, or perhaps it was just me? Hi All, I'm checking in as well and am looking forward to being part of this working group. I've known many of you over the years, working since the early days on a range of substantive policy issues from WHOIS to the UDRP, and, more recently, the RPMs. In my former job as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Verizon, I participated on policy issues through the BC, and finished my term last year as a BC rep to the Nominating Committee. I retired from Verizon last year (after over 23 years) but am happy to be back at ICANN, having recently joined Mayer Brown. I'm participating as a member of the IPC. Congratulations to J. Hello everyone. My name is Caroline Chicoine and I am Of Counsel at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. based in St. Louis, Missouri and have been practicing in the ip area for over 20 years. After taking a backseat after many years in the domain name and ICANN world, when I saw that this working group was being formed, I thought it was a perfect way to get back into the thick of things with an issue that is near and dear to me. I entered the ICANN world in 1999 as a young lawyer right out of law school, helping to draft the IPC bylaws and got hooked. I was Chair of INTA’s Registration and Domain Name System Administration subcommittee, Vice Chair of the Internet committee as a whole, and then Chair of the entire Internet committee in 2010 and 2011.
