New CROP Proposal

HI All, As stated on yesterday's NARALO call we are cancelling support for the Non Profit Technology Conference and are substituting the IGF Canada. We have revised our Outreach plan to account for this and received approval from GSE for this substitution. Because of timing issue and the need to meet the deadlines of CROP we are only able to open the applications for one week. Applications close on January 23. I hope your 2020 is off to a good start! I am writing with some career news. I have accepted the job of VP Stakeholder Engagement and Managing Director Europe for ICANN, and will be relocating with my husband to Brussels. It will be an opportunity to work in a dynamic and complex region, bringing my global perspective and prior European work experience to the role. I will continue to serve in the VP Stakeholder Engagement North America role until a successor has been named. I will also retain my global business engagement responsibilities. Joe Catapano will continue to provide excellent support to the community as the Manager for Stakeholder Engagement in North America. There will be a transition period, beginning in February, while my work permit is being processed. During this time, I will split my time between Europe and North America to support the many events and activities we have planned for 2020. Much of what I have learned about stakeholder engagement has been through help and interactions from North American stakeholders like you. I am very grateful for that. Additional Budget Requests

Just a reminder that if you or your organization plans to submit an Additional Budget Request, it needs to be sent to Eduardo and Myself by Monday January 6 for approval and then we sent it on to Heidi and Staff for the approval of the Finance and Budget Committee. I have attached a blank template form for your convenience. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. I am happy to help walk anyone through the process Deadlines Submission of requests FBSC reviews them and sends them to ALAC ALAC approves these requests and sends them to the Finance and Planning team. This deadline is fixed at January 31.
