Updated draft - Subgroup 4 Consumer Trust

Hi team, Attached in an updated draft of the Consumer Trust subgroup section. Erika is still confirming edits made at her request, but here is a summary of changes: 1) Retrofitted edits made by Erika in Google Docs to Word template. 2) Applied edits from call #37 action item. 3) Inserted a replacement sentence under "Recommendations" indicating that no recommendations were found to be necesssary at this time. 4) Inserted the agreement reached at F2F#3 in the list of agreements (see in-line comment and corresponding redlined text). Erika to provide the list of the URLs considered when examining Reseller web pages, to be inserted before this section is re-incorporated into the draft review report. Regards, Lisa

Susan and all, Attached is an updated draft which updates the cover page to reflect current date/status and deletes the two bullets (and inline comment) responsible for that blue highlighting. Cathrin did indeed include those two bullets in the Rec 1 Strategic Priority section, as agreed during F2F#3. The only subsection that remains unaddressed in this document is the impact of GDPR. Dear all, Sorry for missing the Plenary call #37. For the action items on Plan & Reports: 1. What does “annual report” refer to? Sorry for not making it clear. The exact text should be “implementation reports”. The implementation reports of first WHOIS review recommendations had been incorporated into the ICANN Annual Report. In my opinion, it is of course at ICANN Org’s discretion on the report channel (whether ICANN annual report or ‘annual review implementation report’ according to Bylaws as discussed during the Plenary call #37) and report intervals (quarterly, annually…) . The intention of this recommendation is to have implementation report including all key elements, e.g. progress, effectiveness and impact evaluation, etc. 2. I’m fine with Alan’s rephrasing. Based on the audio recording, I have incorporated the edits. Please see attached. Attached are the sections on Outreach and Safeguards modified as discussed during last Monday's meeting. Outreach: In both recommendations and their associated Implementation sections, I have added a requirement that keeping documnetation up to date and conducting outreach should not be a one-time activity but ongoing, particularly as policy and/or processes change. Safeguard: I added a requirement that data security expert(s) advice on what level or magnitude of data breach would trigger ICANN notification. Alan
