Dear all, During an electronic vote which closed on Monday 26 November 2018 at 23:59 UTC, GNSO Councilors voted unanimously in support of the motion to approve the Revised Nomination of GNSO Candidates for the Third Review of ICANN Accountability and Transparency (ATRT3). Hi all, I submitted the motion for ATRT3 selection and I got this suggested amendment from Darcy on behalf of Registrars SG. I know that we didn't want to give a ranking for the secondary candidates but we should give a response to the suggestion. personally, I don't have any problem with it, but please let me know your thoughts asap. We recognize that there’s a possibility the secondary candidates will never be considered for selection to the Review Team, but if any SO/AC fails to fill its three slots, it would be best to broaden the scope of representation the GNSO is offering. Dear SSC members, Following our call today regarding selection of GNSO candidates for the ATRT3, we are seeking additional input on the mailing list from those members who were unable to attend the call. *Please provide input no later than Thursday 8 November at 11:59 UTC*. Members on the call today agreed that the primary task of the SSC should be to fill vacancies in the existing list of candidates rather than seeking to make major changes to the full slate of candidates. Based on individual SSC member evaluation of the candidates, SG/C endorsements, and discussion, and supported by poll results, members favored filling the two vacancies for primary candidates as follows. Note that the order does not matter for primary candidates. Thank you to Erica and Poncelet for volunteering for the Vice Chair position on the SSC. I would like to suggest that we accept both Erica and Poncelet as Vice Chairs. This would provide a broader coverage for the committee and distribute the workload. Concern about the fact that some SSC members did not complete the survey. Can their responses be solicited? Responses are not official - it's a temperature-taking and a conversation starter. -- Could submit rankings as a proposal to list. -- Whether or not there is official support from relevant org should be taken into account. -- Difficult to provide responses for candidates that respondents were unfamiliar with. -- Last questions asked about rankings, if possible. -- The rankings were determined by the output from Survey Monkey. However, only to serve as a start to conversations. -- Any concerns about late applications? Did anyone exclude them? -- No concerns raised. -- First, seek to replace vacancies. Failing that, consider reviewing entire slate. Believes Wolfgang should be kept as primary candidate, though acknowledges that Wolfgang scored well anyway. -- Broad support to keep Wolfgang. Some support to only fill gaps. -- EOI states that priority given to endorsed candidates. -- Some believe it's helpful to take endorsement into account. Adetola for instance had endorsement from BC. -- There was no official way to endorse in the application in the 2017 application process. -- Two SG/Cs didn't complete survey?
