Hi All, As stated, the latency of response was my doing and I apologize for letting this slip by a week. I had very limited access to email throughout last week (please bear in mind that the request for reframing only took place at the 0600 UTC call on June 13). The original question asked by the review team was: Regarding L-root operations and hosting: What is the planning process vs. passive response? Is there a master plan for anyone who operates, in terms of Anycast? And how is that overall process implemented? The DNS Engineering team’s proposed reframe of this question is: What measures are undertaken by ICANN for the anycast deployment for L-Root to ensure physical and network security and stability. Dear all, Note that because the SSR2 face-to-face meeting starts before the official start date of ICANN59, it’s not listed on the public meeting schedule as it normally would be. Hello SSR2 Review Team - Good day. I just wanted to touch base regarding connectivity concerns for our next SSR2 Meeting Call scheduled for Tuesday, 20 2017 @ 14:00 UTC. We have conquered many of the noise disturbances previously present and would like to ensure continued connectivity on future calls. For the best results in regions with connectivity concerns, we suggest doing the following... * Connect to the Adobe Connect (https://participate.icann.org/ssrreview) 20-30 minutes before the scheduled call - the Adobe Connect room will be open and I will be available to assist you - in addition we can resolve any microphone/static/connection issues ahead of time - including connecting with international operators if need be. The goal is to have all connection concerns resolved by the top of the hour for the benefit of the team. * Be located (if possible) in an area that has proper broadband connection and is quiet - thus creating a strong signal connection, making it possible to see and hear in the Adobe Connect Room. * Feel free to Skype me either before, during or after the call - my skype address is yvette.guigneaux.icann - this way I can respond to you almost immediately for whatever you may need - including having the Adobe Connect Room dial out to you if need be. We will also have Tech Support on this call to trouble shoot any AC Room issues should they arise. Dear SSR2-RT Members, This report was just released by PTIs Customer Standing Committee and I wanted to bring it to your attention, in particular as the subroup on IANA begins its work. Karen Mulberry Multistakeholder Strategy and Strategic Initiatives (MSSI) ICANN Dear Community Members, As chair of the Customer Standing Committee I am pleased to provide you with our monthly report on the performance of Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) over May 2017. You will see that the CSC has concluded that, overall, PTI’s performance in May 2017 was “Satisfactory”, in that they met the agreed service agreement for 98.6 % of the defined metrics. The two, missed service level are subject to a CSC recommendation. In summary: on the evidence to date, the CSC has not identified a persistent problem and no further action is needed. The CSC was informed that PTI has not received a complaint in May 2017. The processes to the change the agreed Service Level Expectations were further discussed as well. The CSC has regular meetings: Every month at or around the 15th. The CSC report on the PTI performance is send out shortly after each meeting.
