The GNSO Standing Committee on Improvement Implementation (SCI) will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the effective functioning of recommendations provided by the Operational Steering Committee (OSC) and Policy Process Steering Committee (PPSC) and approved by the GNSO Council: . On request for those recommendations that have been identified to present immediate problems . On a periodic timescale for all recommendations in order to identify possible issues and/or improvements (subject to a clear definition by the SCI on which recommendations should be reviewed) As the appointed SCI Interim Chair I'd like to invite your SG/Constituency to appoint one (1) member plus one (1) alternate to this committee. Please forward the names to the GNSO Secretariat (E-Mail address) by 15 May, 2011. Please let me know if you require any further information. GNSO Working Group Guidelines

Dear All, As you may be aware, the GNSO Council adopted the proposed the GNSO Working Group Guidelines at its last meeting and resolved that 'to the extent practical and feasible, each existing Working Group shall incorporate these Working Group Guidelines into their activities'. The GNSO Working Group Guidelines have been incorporated in the GNSO Operating Procedures (see http://gnso.icann.org/council/gnso-op-procedures-07apr11-en.pdf) and are also available as a separate download (see http://gnso.icann.org/council/annex-1-gnso-wg-guidelines-07apr11-en.pdf) You'll also find attached a short presentation covering the background and main elements of the GNSO Working Group Guidelines. All, Thanks for looking through the draft charter. As I've received no further amendments I'd like to prepare for council approval at it's next meeting. Deadline is due to 30 Mar. All, Unfortunately timing of the call today was not very efficient. I hope we find another date to continue not too far from now, mainly between March 2 and 9. Avri and Philip if you could make Mar 2, 13:00 UTC, that would be great. Ray, you've already confirmed that date (don't miss it...). A doodle shall be sent out shortly. Attached is an amended version of the draft charter making also reference to the WG guidelines as suggested by Avri. I wonder to what extent the charter itself should refer to specific points of the guidelines and would welcome any coments so far.
