Dear All, The At-Large Community is invited to join an INTERMEDIATE Level Confluence Wiki training session on Thursday 30 September 2010 at 1300 UTC for a duration of 2 hours (0600 PDT, 0900 EDT, 10:00 Buenos Aires, 1400 London, 1500 CEST, 2100 Hong Kong, 2300 Sydney). During this call, Naveed Tahir-Kheli ICANN Applications Development Manager - will show participants how to import documents, delete pages and change the structure of the menu as well as answer any questions. All members of the At-Large community who would like to increase their knowledge of the At-Large Confluence wiki pages are encouraged to participate in this meeting. At-Large wiki migration to Confluence - update

Dear All, The migration of the At-Large wiki pages from Social Text to Confluence is nearly complete. Staff have been working closely with the ALAC Chair, Cheryl Langdon-Orr, over the last several weeks to ensure that the migration meets all of the requested elements in terms of content and format. To allow IT to staff to fully migrate all At-Large pages as well as to give all members of the At-Large community the opportunity to participate in two At-Large Confluence training sessions scheduled for Wednesday, 29 September and Thursday, 30 September, the official go-live date of the At-Large Confluence wiki will now be Friday, 1 October. During the next week, we encourage you to browse the At-Large Confluence site. To access this page, log in to your Confluence account by going to: http://community.icann.org <http://community.icann.org/> and clicking on the Log In link on the right hand side of the page. Once you have logged-in, the At-Large Community tab is located on the upper left hand side of the page. We look forward to your comments! Dear All, The following message is sent on behalf of David Olive, Vice President of Policy Development: ** Meetings For the Next Decade Survey Results and Next Steps As you were one of the respondents to the Meetings for the Next Decade Big Pulse survey (21 May-30 July 2010), we would like to encourage you to join ICANN's Participation and Engagement staff in this webinar about the Public Participation Board Committee's Meetings For the Next Decade ongoing work. ICANN Staff will provide two webinar briefing sessions on Monday, 27 September 2010 at 15.00 and 24.00 UTC. Attendees will hear an overview of the Public Participation Committee's 2010 planned work, learn about the results of the Big Pulse survey and the key issues derived from that, and engage with staff and members of the committee on the next stage of the program, which is to better understand the community's needs in regard to infrastructure and content for the ICANN International Public meetings in the future. The 30-minute presentation will be hosted twice and recorded for later download to make the information accessible to community members in different time zones. Each webinar session will be run in Adobe Connect with a slide presentation along with a dial-in conference bridge for audio. Each session will be conducted in English only. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the sessions via a telephonic audio link and by using the Q&A function of Adobe Connect, as well as participate in a poll during and immediately following the presentation. If you are unable to participate in either of the two live sessions, the slides and an MP3 file will be made available shortly after the sessions. ALAC Statement on New gTLD Applicant Guidebook Version 4 and Explanatory Memorandum

Dear Diane, The At-Large staff has the honour to transmit to you the ALAC Statement on New gTLD Applicant Guidebook Version 4 and Explanatory Memorandum as an Advice to the ICANN Board on behalf of the ALAC. Thank you for distributing it to the Board for consideration. On August 13th, the At-Large Staff transmitted the Draft Statement to Karen Lentz, the ICANN staff person responsible for the public consultation process on Draft Applicant Guidebook Version 4 with a note saying that the document was currently undergoing ALAC ratification. On August 24th, the Chair of the At-Large Advisory Committee, Cheryl Langdon-Orr, asked the Staff of At-Large to start a five-day online ALAC vote on the draft statement. The online vote ended on August 28th and resulted in the ALAC endorsing the statement with 12-0 votes. Sebastien Bachollet, who informed the ALAC that he would be on leave during the voting period will be recorded as an abstention.
