Dear All, We have been requested by the Chair of the ALAC to start a 5 day vote on the ALS applications currently ready for approval by the ALAC. Members of the ALAC recently received an email with their voting credentials for this vote. An email with background information on this application was sent to the ALAC-internal list on Wednesday 8 June 2011. The question to be put will be the following: ***** Should the regional advice from EURALO for applicant (150) The Ukranian Internet Association be accepted? The regional advice was to accept the application. With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and do NOT accredit this ALS Abstain ***** Should the regional advice from EURALO for applicant (148) European Media Platform be accepted? The regional advice was to accept the application. With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and do NOT accredit this ALS Abstain ***** Should the regional advice from AFRALO for applicant (143) FORCAS (Forum des Cadres Scientifiques pour le Developpement) be rejected? The regional advice was to reject the application. With possible answers: ACCEPT the regional advice and NOT accredit this ALS REJECT regional advice and accredit this ALS Abstain ***** The Vote will remain open until Thursday 16 June 2011 at 2359 UTC. Call for RALO comments on FY12 Operating Plan & Budget

Hello, everyone, The ExCom has requested that each RALO prepare a summary of its thoughts on the Draft FY12 Operating Plan and Budget. The deadline for the ALAC's overall statement on this topic is 17 June, so the regional summaries will need to be complete well before then -- please target the week of 6 June for the completion of these summaries. On each RALO's main wiki page, the most recent announcement describes this and links to its own workspace on which your summary can be organized. The workspace contains other useful links, such as to the public comment announcement.
