A brief description of this Webinar During this webinar, the Guest Speaker will take participants through a brief overview of the New Generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) Program, and suggest answers to 4 key questions around the topic of 'New gTLD Rounds and Subsequent Procedures’: * How does New gTLD Program impact end-users? * What are Subsequent Procedures? * Why should Subsequent Procedures matter to end-users? * What’s next with Subsequent Procedures - a new round of New gTLDs? Although introductory in nature, the Guest Speaker will attempt to touch on the end-user connection to selected sub-topics for which policy development is taking place within the GNSO New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process Working Group. Thus, this webinar is not only suitable to those who are less familiar with the New Generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) Program in general, but it will also provide an opportunity for more seasoned ICANNers to reaffirm or reacquaint themselves with why and how Subsequent Procedures matter to the At-Large community. About the Guest Speaker Justine has been an active member of the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures PDP Working Group since 2016. In December 2018 she was appointed to serve as the At-Large liaison for that PDP Working Group, as well as one of 5 At-Large regional members for the subsidiary Work Track 5 on Geographic Names. In addition, Justine is an established member of the At-Large Consolidated Policy Working Group (CPWG) to whom she makes regular presentations on Subsequent Procedures and in the process, she has produced a collection of resource materials on Subsequent Procedures for At-Large capacity building and consensus building purposes. More recently, as a panelist on the ICANN68 At-Large Policy Session entitled "New gTLD Applicants: Expanding the Circle", Justine spoke on At-Large's input to policy reforms needed to encourage more applications for niche Top-Level Domains by new, single, and/or community-based applicants in the next New gTLD application round. Justine became a member of the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) following the ICANN 66 AGM in 2019, having been selected by the Nominating Committee to represent the Asian, Australasian and Pacific Islands Region. We will have an interactive quiz during the presentation and an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the presentation. Por lo tanto, este seminario web no solo es adecuado para aquellos que están menos familiarizados con el Programa de Nuevos Dominios Genéricos de Alto Nivel (gTLD) en general, sino que también brindará una oportunidad para que los participantes en ICANN más experimentados se reafirmen o se familiaricen con por qué y cómo. Bien que de nature introductive, Justine tentera de parler de la connexion de l’utilisateur final à des sous-thèmes sélectionnés pour lesquels le développement de politiques est en cours au sein du groupe de travail sur le processus d’èlaboration des politiques des procédures ultérieures du GNSO New gTLD. Ainsi, ce webinaire ne convient pas seulement à ceux qui sont moins familiers avec le programme de nouveau domaine générique du premier niveau (gTLD) en général, mais il offrira également une opportunité aux ICANN plus expérimentés de réaffirmer ou de se familiariser avec le pourquoi et le comment.
