For those who attended the "Better Online Presentations" webinar, Jonathan has agreed to host a follow up workshop to help those who are interested to use the virtual camera software that he demo'd at the end of the webinar. Virtual camera software allows you to mix video, powerpoints, images and text into your camera feed so that you can give a more sophisticated presentation and easily switch between your video and your slides. This workshop will give you the chance to try the software with Jonathan online to help you with any problems. Maureen accepted the nomination on 18 September 2020 along with her nominee statement. As Maureen Hilyard was elected to serve as Chair for 2018-19, and was automatically renewed for 2019-20, this year there must be a new election for ALAC Chair for the 2020-2021 ICANN year. The requirements and responsibilities of the Chair are listed in Section 5 of the RoP. The Chair must make a major time commitment in the order of 20-40 hours per week, and at times significantly more. Recent Chairs have regularly participated in all ALAC meetings, most ALAC Working Groups and Sub-Committee meetings, many RALO meetings, as well as participated actively in ICANN policy Working Groups. Call for Nominations for ALAC Chair

Dear All, The At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) Rules of Procedure Section 17 (RoP - Short URL http://tinyurl.com/ALAC-RoP-2018-10 [tinyurl.com]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/tinyurl.com/ALAC-RoP-2018-10__;!!PtGJab4!…>) call for the ALAC Chair to be elected for one year, but subject to certain conditions, may automatically be renewed for one additional year. As Maureen Hilyard was elected to serve as Chair for 2018-19, and was automatically renewed for 2019-20, this year there must be a new election for ALAC Chair for the 2020-2021 ICANN year. The requirements and responsibilities of the Chair are listed in Section 5 of the RoP. The Chair must make a major time commitment in the order of 20-40 hours per week, and at times significantly more. Recent Chairs have regularly participated in all ALAC meetings, most ALAC Working Groups and Sub-Committee meetings, many RALO meetings, as well as participated actively in ICANN policy Working Groups.
