Dear All, Further to the Doodle poll, the At-Large community is invited to participate in a Briefing Call on Travel Support scheduled on Tuesday 12 January at 1700 UTC. 09:00 PDT, 12:00 EDT, 14:00 Buenos Aires, 17:00 London, 18:00 CEST, 20:00 Nairobi, 01:00 Singapore/Hong Kong (13.01), 04:00 Sydney (13.01) This call will be an opportunity for members of the At-Large community to speak with Kevin Wilson, ICANN Chief Financial Officer, and Steve Antonoff, Director of Human Resources and Administration, on travel–related issues including the development of Return on Investment parameters, prior planning of regional meetings and outreach activities, identifying synergies with the ALAC Review Improvements, and ways to improve the advance planning of travel to ICANN meetings. This call will be an opportunity for members of the At-Large community to speak with Kevin Wilson, ICANN Chief Financial Officer, and Steve Antonoff, Director of Human Resources and Administration, on travelrelated issues including the development of Return on Investment parameters, prior planning of regional meetings and outreach activities, identifying synergies with the ALAC Review Improvements, and ways to improve the advance planning of travel to ICANN meetings. The vote will remain open until Sunday, December 27th at 2359 UTC. Dear All, As resolved during the ALAC November Teleconference, an online ALAC vote on the ALAC Resolution on the report of the Selected Trademark Issues Review Team and the three minority positions has recently started. EXCEPTIONALLY, THIS VOTE WILL ONLY BE OPEN FOR THREE DAYS! The vote will end on Thursday, 17 December at 1500 UTC in order to allow the ALAC-GNSO Liaison Alan Greenberg to announce the ALAC position on the STI during the GNSO Council meeting taking place that day. The motion to be put to vote will be the following: Motion: The ALAC supports the Report of the Selected Trademark Issues Review Team dated 11 Dec 2009 and the three minority positions (attached as pdf files).
