All, Pleased to report that the ICANN Board has approved the updated BC charter that our community worked so hard to develop over the past couple of years. ICANN staff also asked us to extend their thanks to the members of the charter drafting team and our Executive Committee. REMINDER: ICANN59 GNSO Policy and Outreach sessions - every morning ICANN59

Dear all, As a reminder, GNSO Policy and Outreach sessions will be held at the beginning of each meeting day. During these sessions, the GNSO Policy Support Team will provide a briefing that aims to assist attendees in their preparation for the GNSO topics that are on the agenda for that specific day. This session is intended to be informative and interactive. Please join us with any questions you may have. They will be held from 08:00 – 08:30 local time every day in Committee 4, except for Tuesday 27 June, when that particular session will be held in Ballroom 2. Remote participation is available. Please remember to add these sessions to your schedules (go to https://schedule.icann.org/, create a profile and add the sessions you’re interested in) in order to receive all the updates and/or changes. ICANN59: GNSO Sessions How to Get Organized and Remote Participation Details

On behalf of the GNSO SO/AC Support staff, please see below. Dear all, GNSO SO/AC Support staff have created a remote participation landing page for all GNSO open and public meetings should you not be travelling to Johannesburg. This gives you Adobe Connect room information, but equally, given that Adobe Connect audio will not be activated (streaming only), dial in information is provided for you to connect to the sessions via your telephone (information for closed sessions has been sent to groups concerned only). In addition to this, the ICANN meetings website provides you with an easy to navigate schedule and the possibility of downloading all GNSO-related meetings to your inbox calendar in one go. 2 LINKS TO BOOKMARK NOW: ICANN59 Meeting Schedule<https://icann59johannesburg2017.sched.com/> GNSO Remote Participation wiki page<https://community.icann.org/x/aSTwAw> Step 1 Go to the Meeting Schedule webpage, and if not done yet, create a log in when prompted. To get a general description of the session, please hover your mouse over the session title and a summary of the session will appear as well as an Add to my Schedule option.
