Organized by the NonCommercial Users Constituency (NCUC) of the Generic Names Supporting Organization, with the generous support of ICANN. Dear All, After nearly three years helping to support the At-Large community, Matt Ashtiani will be moving to the Strategic Initiatives division to take up his new role as Strategic Initiatives Manager. He will be transitioning out of his current position over the next several weeks. The At-Large staff support team thanks Matt for his great work and wish him all the best in his new position! We’ll miss you, Matt! At the same time, we are very happy to be able to welcome Xinyue (Ariel) Liang<http://www.icann.org/en/about/staff/liang-ariel.htm> in her new role as At-Large Policy Coordinator. Ariel has a perfect skill set for supporting the At-Large community, including strong communication, creative and language skills as well as international experience. Prior to joining ICANN, Ariel interned at the United Nations Secretariat in New York to assist the marketing communications efforts of the Department of Public Information. She also worked at the Washington D.C. office of Mitsui & Co., where she researched, analyzed, and reported on U.S. policy issues significant to Mitsui’s business in the Asia-Pacific region. Ariel completed a Master’s Degree in Communications at Columbia University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Global and Transnational History from Vanderbilt University. In addition to her native Mandarin Chinese, she is fluent in English and proficient in Japanese. She will be based in the Washington, D.C. Engagement Office. At-Large Summit II Travel Database

Dear All, The ATLAS II Travel Database is currently being completed by staff. For the ATLAS II event in London in June, each ALS will be able to send one representative. Elected ALAC members and Regional Officers will be serving as the member from their ALS as they officially represent their ALS in addition to their leadership role. In the situation where an ALAC member was appointed to its role by the Nominating Committee (NomCom), and therefore does not officially represent their ALS, the ALS may select one other member from among its membership to represent their ALS. In addition, ALSes which have an ALAC voting delegate to the NomCom as their current representative have been asked by staff to nominate another member from their ALS to represent it at the ATLAS II. This is due to the NomCom schedule at the ICANN Meeting in June being very full and it would be unlikely that a NomCom member would have the time to fully represent their ALS at the ATLAS II.
