In conjunction with this PDP WG releasing its Initial Report Phase 1a for public comment, we invite you, especially if you are a domain name registrant, to join Jonathan and Steinar in an informal conversation to understand a little about: * the existing ICANN Transfer Policy around transfers of domain name registrations from one registrar to another registrar; * how enforcement of the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) has impacted that ICANN Transfer Policy; * the risks for registrants and/or individual end-users and associated issues arising thereafter; * the issues identified under Phase 1a of this policy development process, as and where they relate to registrants and individual end-users; and * the proposed recommendations developed by the PDP WG to remedy those issues.
