Hello all, This is a call for nominations for the opening role we have as APRALO ALAC representative starting from the end of the Dakar meeting for a period of 2 years. Cheryl Langdon-Orr, who will step down after the Dakar meeting has given her all for this role and will be sorely missed. The person elected will have an orientation with Cheryl to go through the duties and responsibilities. Please send any nominations to the list before the 6th of September. Thank you so much for your attention and time. The timeline is as follows 1. Call for Nominations: The Regional Secretariat will make a call for nominations to the Discussion List no later than 31-August-2011. 2. Nomination Period: Nominations shall be accepted for one week after the Secretariat calls for nominations up to 6-September-2011. 3. Acceptance Deadline: The nominees need to accept their nomination no later than seven days after the nomination period ends 13-September-2011. 4. Vote Deadline: If a vote is required, the vote to select a representative shall begin no later than one week after the end of the acceptance deadline 14-September-2011 and end no later than 20-September-2011. The 'At-Large Staff Announcements' are built by hand and there is no way to synchronize this to another wiki page. If you need the locally built announcements on multiple pages my recommendation would be to move them to the At Large website where an rss feed can be generated. Dear All, Further to the opening of the call for nominations during the APRALO teleconference on 30-August-2011 and the receipt of a nomination during the call under Agenda Item 6, the APRALO membership is now advised that nominations for the role of APRALO Representative to the ALAC from 2011 - 2013 will remain open until 6-September-2011. Please note that any additional nominations should be forwarded to this list for consideration. The timeline is as follows 1.
