Dear APRALO members, Thanks all those, who found a time to participate in today's monthly call, the last call for this year. Here are some activities and numbers we TOGETHER accomplished during 2015. I have also posted the links to each topic highlighted for easy access and view: a) APRALO Showcase was conducted during ICANN 52 in Singapore meeting on 11th of February 2015 with the support of regional partners (DotAsia, APNIC and APTLD) and APRALO ALSs. The program and materials of the showcase are available here: APRALO Outreach Event Workspace b) 6 new ALSs joined during 2015 year, thus the total number of ALSs in APRALO by the end of December is 42. You can view the list of all ALSs here: APRALO ALSes & Independent Members. c) Leveraging APAC for Capacity & Capability Building - 5 webinars were conducted within the framework of APRALO-APAC HUB. To view all webinars, records and transcrips, please, visit here: 2015 APRALO Capacity Building Webinar Series d) Community driven localized materials has been prepared in 5 languages: Korean, Hindi, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Cantonese / Traditional Chinese - all materials in local languages can be found here: KISA-ICANN Language Localisation Pilot Project e) APRALO Strategy was developed and activities implemented within the framework by different ALSs supporting APAC outreach to raise awareness & increase stakeholder participation. The approved strategy for FY16 can be viewed here: APRALO Outreach Strategic Plan f) APRALO Outreach Calendar had been created to highlight the events on regional and national levels. Call for Volunteers: Advisory Panel on gTLD Marketplace Health Index

Dear All, ICANN is calling for community volunteers to participate in the Advisory Panel on gTLD Marketplace Health Index. This Advisory Panel will review the proposed KPIs in the preliminary proposal of gTLD Marketplace Health Index<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/gtld-marketplace-health-index-p…>, as well as the suggested potential updates in light of the public comment<https://www.icann.org/public-comments/gtld-marketplace-health-2015-11-17-en> on this preliminary proposal. The Advisory Panel will also be asked to assist ICANN in finalizing the list of KPIs and in setting proposed benchmarks for measuring the health of the global gTLD marketplace. As an FYI, the ALAC has responded to the public comment on the gTLD Marketplace Health Index Proposal and submitted a Statement: https://newatlarge.icann.org/advice_statements/9745. At-Large members interested in this topic are welcome to join the Advisory Panel. Experience in the global domain name industry, economics, and data analytics will be particularly helpful to the Advisory Panel's work. CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: FBSC Call For Participants and Reconfirmation of Current Participants

Dear All, The ALAC and RALO Members of the Finance and Budget Sub-Committee (FBSC) have now been identified. They have been noted on the FBSC Workspace (see: https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/ALAC+Subcommittee+on+Finance+an… ). Under the request of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC and ALAC Finance and Budget Sub-Committee (FBSC<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/ALAC+Subcommittee+on+Finance+an…>), staff are now issuing a call for non-voting Participants. The tasks of the FBSC include but are not limited to: - Coordination of the annual additional Budget Requests from the ALAC and the RALOs that will be filed to go into the yearly ICANN budget - Drafting of any Statement regarding the ICANN Budget Process - Drafting of any Statement regarding the ICANN Strategic Process - Drafting of any Statement regarding ICANN's Operating plan - Issues involving Constituency Travel Budgets Participants will have all the rights of a Member of the FBSC unless a vote is called for. The work of the FBSC will work by consensus whenever possible. All current Participants should re-confirm your interest in remaining on the FBSC as a Participant by informing At-Large Staff by Wednesday, 16 December. If you are interested in becoming a new Participant, please inform At-Large staff by Wednesday, 16 December. A Doodle for the next FBSC call will be sent shortly. Participants are welcome to join the call regardless of whether they have participated in the Doodle.
