Dear APRALO staff and colleagues, Due to the email deliverable issues and the fact that less than 50% of eligible votes have occurred, could you please extend the time period for the ALAC vote until UTC 23:00 Friday October 24 2008. Furthermore could you also contact each ALS that has yet to vote an individual email with the credentials. Voting Credentials

Dear authorised ALS representatives: As you will remember, we sent out a listing of those person whom we believe were the authorised voters for each ALS some time ago. We asked you all to ensure that the information we had was accurate. We have sent credentials out accordingly and in several cases found out that our information wasn't accurate, and we have then modified the voting rolls accordingly and resent credentials to the correct address. This also has the effect of cancelling the previously-issued credentials for those addresses which have received incorrect credentials. For those of you who have reported not receiving your credentials, if you have not done so, in the first instance please do check your spam filters. As you all know, we have used this system for two years now and the instances where credentials did not arrive and were not stuck in spam filters are extremely rare. We will keep resending credentials but if you haven't received it the second time, the answer almost certainly lies in spam filtering. Hello, I am new to At Large though being a person considerably interested in Internet Governance issues as part of ISOC. As a nominee for Election to ALAC I have not written to any of you individually, unsure whether it is a convention at at-large to write to the voting representatives during the election process. There is a possibility that the absence of communication by a candidate could be seen as lack of interest or commitment. Hello Jeffrey, What I said about America pertains to the US Government position on ICANN and Internet policy making, and I think I gave a fair description and even if there was an observation or two that were critical about the US Government, it is not fair to dub the entire message as anti-american. It is not meant to be. On Security aspects I do agree that there is a need for Security fixes, but I am concerned by the fact that the issues are projected blown up in a manner of raising an alarm so as to warrant measures that would severely compromise privacy aspects.. This is a big topic, I have been very brief... In its brevity, the message might have sounded anti-american, it was not meant to be. I live in India and have an immense interest in the growth and evolution of the Internet. I have taken part in the OECD Ministerial Meeting on the Future of Internet Economy at Seoul, Korea, and took part at the APNIC 24 and SANOG events in New Delhi.
