Hello, I am from the ISOC India Chennai chapter offering to serve the At Large Advisory committee representing APRILO. I live in India and have an immense interest in the growth and evolution of the Internet. I have taken part in the OECD Ministerial Meeting on the Future of Internet Economy at Seoul, Korea, and took part at the APNIC 24 and SANOG events in New Delhi. As a person who believes in a well *balanced system of Governance <http://intgovforum.org/forum/index.php?topic=446.0>*in its *minimal form <http://isocmadras.blogspot.com/2008/09/one-web-day.html>*, I have been actively participating in the key discussions on Internet Governance, especially at the Internet Governance Caucus mailing lists. I am associated with One Web Day and have volunteered to handle the *Stories<http://www.onewebday.org/stories> * task. I believe that there can be a solution acceptable to all stakeholders who have conflicting interests. I have taken part in various discussions on key policy related issues, including issues related to IPV6 transition and the growth of ICANN. My interest in the growth and evolution of the Internet stems from an innate desire to contribute very significantly to the world at large on a macro level. Hi All basically if you read my text below you will see that I am seeking a note/ message email of support / opinion (or otherwise) from each ALS and indeed APRALO and Nom-Com appointee for our region per se, on this matter of how important it is that to quote Beau Brendler "we believe this is an important issue, provide some framework and definition, and encourage the GNSO to re-constitute the group" if this can happen before the ALAC meeting on the 14th it will give great power (in a petition sort of sense)... Indeed it may be useful if each ALS can remind ICANN of just *how many* Asia-Pacific regional internet users and opinions we bring to this 'table' at the same time...
