Dear All, Post yesterday's call (APRALO), I was wondering whether all the ALSes could reach out within their own countries and commit to sharing the RALO story to other Organizations. You could even hand out the RALO brochure. The stories can be told in person in your local language or video. The video does not have to be professionally assembled. If each ALS could commit each year to reaching out to three Organisations (nationally, regionally), that would be fantastic. So far, outreach has been ad hoc but if we had a targeted approach, we could really raise the numbers. Hi Wyn, There is work that the RALO can do, that is urging the ALSes to reach out and by setting clear goals. The Outreach Sub Working Group has to work with the RALOs anyway but the teeth of implementation is at the RALO and ALS level. Then there is the influx of ALS applicants and preparing them for seamless engagement. In-reach is where we already have organisations who are ALSes but they need to be encouraged to actively participate in policy development processes and/or other avenues. Either way (inreach/outreach), the shortlist of URLs is still necessary and probably exists anyway but it's no good if it exists but the RALOs and ALSes don't know where to go. Dear Maureen, I completely understand your point with the challenge of time, that is why the doddle had been sent with several options, and out of 15 participants who fill in the doodle poll, 14 mentioned this time as appropriate one. I also asked those for whom those slates are not convenient to fill in the doodle to understand for how many people this day will not work, but no one did:( The date and time has been selected in accordance with the majority votes. Dear All, On behalf of ALAC Chair, Olivier Crépin-Leblond, we are requesting that APRALO suggest two members for the ALAC Finance and Budget Sub-Committee (FBSC)<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/ALAC+Subcommittee+on+Finance+an…>. One of these members should be an ALAC representative. Currently, YJ Park is the only APRALO representatives on the FBSC. The FBSC works on issues related to the FY15 budget, including the AC/SO budget requests. One member from each RALO will also be asked to be join the At-Large Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program Review Team (CROPP RT)<https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=43982055>. Could you please send Olivier and At-Large staff the names of the two APRALO FBSC representatives by Tuesday, 17 December at 14:59 UTC?
