some info on ccNSO membership

Dear colleagues, In the Policy update message from ICANN March 2010 I've found some remarkable information on the growth of the ccNSO membership. The statistics show us the last 2 years the membership increased with 35 members, ending up end 2009 with 100 members. The membership started in 2003. In 2009 11 members came from Europe ... Some graphs showing the statistics on ccNSO membership growth <http://ccnso.icann.org/about/ccnso-membership-august-2003-november-2009.pdf> [PDF, 41 KB] Recently the 104th member has been registered. It looks like more and more interest is coming up from the ccTLD community and ccNSO is investing energy in outreach by launching an You Tube channel. Perhaps a good idea for our community too ... We do hope, however, that we will get many more contributions from you over the time! The thought behind this initiative is to give the ccTLD community a chance to learn to know each other better in a more personal way, even in between meetings. The idea came up whilst we conducted interviews with community members regarding a ccNSO website redesign. Since we frequently heard that it would be nice to get a more “personal touch”, we thought this is the best solution we can find right now. It would be great if your ccTLD also could find some time to produce a short clip which we can upload on this channel. The idea is that it should be between 1-3 minutes and it should say a little about you, your ccTLD and perhaps your involvement in the ccNSO (however, non-members are most welcome to contribute too!).
