At-Large Travel Policy

The change is to advise you that ICANN are adopting a per-diem based system for expenses over and above those paid directly by ICANN. For those attending the San Juan meeting from LAC, NA, and the ALAC committee, a separate email will advise you on the per diem details for the meeting. ALAC Rules of Procedure

Dear all, I agree with Bilal that as the funds available with ALS' at this stage are limited to meet their individual organisational goal, but it is equally important to have such interim meetings in order to discus and streamline the future course of action of APRALO (as also the member ALS') it would be advisable that ICANN bears the cost of these initial but crutial discussions. We do understand that the funds at ICANN at this stage would be limited so a suitable solution for the same could be arrived at by consensus, if required sponsorship options could also be explored. APRALO gathering in Hong Kong July 25

Hi Everyone, Some of you may be aware, there will be an ICANN Regional Registry-Registrar Gathering in Hong Kong: July 26-27, 2007. These types of regional gathering is intended to be informal sessions that provide opportunity for better communication between registries and registrars. Since the AP meeting original scheduled for October 07 is now delayed to Feb 08, I was thinking it may be a good idea to convene in the interim to set out some of the things to do now that we have formally formed the APRALO. I have chatted with Raj, Cheryl and a few others briefly about this a couple of days ago as well and all thought it may be a good idea to find a chance to meet face to face. One of the areas of discussion (among others, e.g. IDN, new gTLDs, etc.) may be to take the opportunity to meet the registries and registrars informally to understand more about the domain tasting issues.
