Bonjour à tous, et bienvenue au sommet, Le salon d´exposition pendant lequel tous les ALS qui participent au Sommet At-Large présenteront leurs activités respectives au moyen de dépliants, brochures, catalogues et prospectus (ou toute autre sorte d´imprimés) et ce de façon interactive *ce salon aura lieu demain *samedi 1 mars entre 18:30 - 20:30 à Melia Reforma Hotel - Revolucion 1 Pour notre région, je suis chargée de coordonner et de collecter le matériel ( ddépliants, brochures, catalogues et prospectus ou autres ) afin de préparer notre espace qui nous sera alloué. J'aurais besoin de volontaires pour décorer notre espace demain pendant la pause déjeuner. je vous souhaite à tous une très bonne semaine et surtout beaucoup de participation. Hawa

Bonjour, Le présent message vise à vous rappeler du déroulement de la session prévue au sommet de Mexico qui s¹intitule Foire d¹exposition des ALS stands et matériel promotionnel¹ Le but est de montrer la variété présente dans les ALS et RALO de la communauté At-Large. Vous allez présenter l¹organime que vous représenter à Mexico et ce, au moyen de brochures, de dépliants, catalogues, prospectus et affiches (posters) de vos ALS et d¹une façon interactive. Comme le laisse deviner l¹intitulé de la session; ce n¹est pas une rencontre formelle ou une session à thème mais une foire¹ où chacun expose et montre l¹activité de son ALS au quotidien. Il y aura un bref discours de bienvenue et d¹ouverture (entre 5 et 10 minutes) qui sera traduit dans autres langues par des membres de la communauté At-Large. Ensuite, vous pourrez présenter votre organisation et discuter avec les gens venus du monde entier. C¹est une réunion conviviale où les uns et les autres apprenent à se connaître et échangent leurs expériences. On ne vous attend pas à faire une présentation formale de votre présentation devant l¹intégralité des participants. Il n¹y aura pas de interprètes pour cet évenement. Dès lors, nous vous encourageons vivement à emporter tout ce que vous pourrez dans vos bagages (cependant, veuillez tenir compte du fait qu¹aucun remboursement n¹est prévu pour excédent de bagages le poids maximum autorisé pour les bagages est de 20 kg par voyageur -J) Nous avons besoin de savoir au plus vite si vous avez besoin d¹équipement technique spécialisé (outre celui déjà à disposition, voir annexe) pour votre présentation. Les tables, tableaux d¹affichage, bornes et autres équipements standards seront fournis sur place. Dear Hawa, for DRC, we have obtained appointment with mexico consulate in Mexico Embassy in Nairobi. In actual stape, after interview yesterday, we are waiting for Ambassador decision today to have our mexico visa. If process going well, we go back Kinshasa earlier on friday by Kenya Airways. Dear Alex, After yesterday night call conference, I called now the Mexican Embassy in Paris (France) : +33142865626/40, they have not yet receive any authorization from Immigration; but a message from ICANN that is not enough for them to deliver a visa. I would like to know if anyone among us, have got an appointment or the visa with an embassy in Africa ?. Dear All, Please see the information about the At-Large Poster Session below. This is to ask all ALS representatives who will be participating in the At-Large Summit to bring information (pamphlets, magazines, posters, etc.) on describing your organization's activities with you to Mexico City. This will be an excellent opportunity to present the activities of the AFRALO ALSes. It’s all about the variety of the ALS and RALO communities, to present yourself or the organisation you are representing in Mexico -- by means of flyers, brochures, booklets, posters (or whatsoever hand-outs) from your ALS and *in an inter-active way*. As the title says, it’s not a conventional meeting or a thematic session but a *Faire* where you can expose and demonstrate the work you are doing in your day-to-day ALS-life. There will be a short welcome and introduction and afterwards you can present your material, discuss with people from other parts of the world. It’s an informal get-together, get-to-know-each-other, exchange of views and experiences, making contacts and for networking etc. And it’s understood as an important element for the community building within and among RALOs at ICANN’s first user Summit (more details you will find attached). We therefore encourage you to bring along with you what you can carry (but be aware that no reimbursements for overloads of luggage – more than 20 kg – are foreseen ;-). What we need to know ASAP is whether you need any kind of sophisticated technical equipment for your presentations during the evening. Tables, pin-boards, beamers and standard equipment like this will be provided. Any *further technical requirements or equipment* must be announced to me until Wednesday 11 February (to be forwarded to and organised by the Summit event management).
