This session, the second in our Regulatory Updates Briefings with ICANN’s Governmental Engagement Team, will explore the implications of the recently adopted UN Cybercrime Convention and the Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention for the Domain Name System. The session will address growing sovereignty concerns and discuss how ICANN’s multistakeholder model can strengthen global Internet governance. We will review the current state of ratifications and discuss the way forward for both conventions, with a particular focus on cross-border data access. Cette session, la deuxième de nos séances d’information sur les mises à jour réglementaires avec l’équipe d’engagement gouvernemental de l’ICANN, explorera les implications de la Convention des Nations Unies sur la cybercriminalité récemment adoptée et du deuxième protocole additionnel à la Convention de Budapest pour le système des noms de domaine, La session abordera les préoccupations croissantes en matière de souveraineté et discutera de la manière dont le modele multipartie de l’ICANN peut renforcer la gouvernance mondiale de l’Internet. Nous passerons en revue l’état actuel des ratifications et discuterons de la voie à suivre pour les deux conventions, en mettant particulièrement l’accent sur l’accès transfrontalier aux données.
