Dear All, After nearly three years helping to support the At-Large community, Matt Ashtiani will be moving to the Strategic Initiatives division to take up his new role as Strategic Initiatives Manager. He will be transitioning out of his current position over the next several weeks. The At-Large staff support team thanks Matt for his great work and wish him all the best in his new position! We’ll miss you, Matt! At the same time, we are very happy to be able to welcome Xinyue (Ariel) Liang<http://www.icann.org/en/about/staff/liang-ariel.htm> in her new role as At-Large Policy Coordinator. Ariel has a perfect skill set for supporting the At-Large community, including strong communication, creative and language skills as well as international experience. Prior to joining ICANN, Ariel interned at the United Nations Secretariat in New York to assist the marketing communications efforts of the Department of Public Information. She also worked at the Washington D.C. office of Mitsui & Co., where she researched, analyzed, and reported on U.S. policy issues significant to Mitsui’s business in the Asia-Pacific region. Ariel completed a Master’s Degree in Communications at Columbia University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Global and Transnational History from Vanderbilt University. In addition to her native Mandarin Chinese, she is fluent in English and proficient in Japanese. She will be based in the Washington, D.C. Engagement Office. With Ariel’s arrival, the At-Large staff has expanded its global reach in terms of international experience, cultural background and language skills. Welcome, Ariel!
