While equally strategic to the ALAC, these 4 Liaisons carry varying responsibilities, often demanding differing knowledge, skills and time commitments, and even the right temperament, to be successful in their respective roles. Summary of the First Leadership Meeting

Hello everyone Dear Region. Receive greetings, by this means I make a summary of the first meeting held with the new leadership team, from my role as secretary I want to express my gratitude for your trust and I make myself available to you. Tell you a little about my career in the Ecosystem Since 2026 as a member of ISOC El Salvador Chapter, working hand in hand with my dear friend and colleague President of the ISOC El Salvador Chapter, from the promotion committee on Internet Day, in the years 2018 to 2022 I had the opportunity to be a scholarship holder both in the Internet Governance schools of the South and the North Face-to-face and also in VSIG virtually with my excellent mentors such as they have been Alfredo Calderón and Lito Ibarra, which helped me to understand and deepen the importance of my active involvement. In 2023 I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the ICANN 76 Assembly in Cancun as an observer, later by my own means I attended ICANN 77, ICANN 78, ICANN 79. In 2024 I had the incredible opportunity to be selected with a Fellowship for the first time and attended ICANN 81 in Istanbul, which further strengthened the journey I had had in ICANN meetings, From 2023 to 2025 I have been the organizer of the World Universal Acceptance event in my country El Salvador from Difusión to my new proposal to make in 2026 the incorporation of Universal Acceptance in the national curriculum with the participation of various universities that since 2023 were visited for a week, this has allowed me to be in direct contact with the members who were part of the UASG as Vice chair of Communications since 2023 to 2025. In this way, to this day I have had and provided my commitment to my country, my community and to you as a Region, and so I will continue to work in whatever is necessary as secretary. Within my work plan I can tell you that I am going to make strategic alliances and with the support of all the leadership with all their valuable experience we are going to reconnect as a region, Here we are all valuable members, with talents, ideas and projects that contribute significantly to the region and that at the moment I am going to work so that we communicate better and it is known what we are doing, Feel free to write to me, send me an email, and approach me when we have a chance to meet in person. My job will be to listen to them, collect their ideas, have excellent communication as a region and above all that our regions have a remarkable turn in these 2 years of my management and in the following years together with Lance as president, Vanda with all her respectable career, Liliam, Eunice, Claire and Hannah who are very valuable members with all their knowledge and who have shown that they want to make a difference. In addition to the fact that our members were introduced at the first meeting, Lance Hinds from Guyana, my person Sandra Rodríguez fromEl Salvador, Vanda Scartezini from Brazil as Vice President3, Lilian de Luque from Colombia as Vice Secretary, Eunice Pérez from Mexico, Claire Craig from Trinidad and Tobago, Hannah Frank from Argentina. I want to emphasize that the updates of ALAC,CPWG,OFB, executive summary of the work plan for fiscal year 2026,, Public consultation on the draft Regional Strategic Plan for Latin America and the Caribbean for fiscal years, UA Day Update, Review existing LACRALO working groups Finally, I encourage you to participate, I remain at your disposal to resume effective contact and that more and more people get involved. Si bien es cierto que varias veces nos equivocamos nosotros, al escribir en inglés en el mail en español, o viceversa, lo cierto es que muchas veces los mail vienen solo en inglés. Y Muchas veces vienen los mails vacios de texto, solo con la parte final de siempre. Si bien somos muchos que no tenemos problemas conque no estén traducidos, hay mucos que necsitan esa traducción. Y si no, se convierte en una forma de no participación. Por ello, me permito sugerir: 1. Que nosotros escribamos en español en el mail para español, y en inglés en el mail para ingles. Si el sistema e traducción funciona correctamente, problema solucionado. 2. Pero como el sistema de traduccion funciona mal, sugiero que el Staff se ponga en contacto con el equipo técnico para dar una solución definitiva a este problema. Saludos cordiales! Whatever the form of communication, the process by which such an output is developed is normally a bottom-up one and built around informed consensus.
