Dear All, The ALAC Chair has asked At-Large staff to advise the At-Large regions that she will be sending out two election calls shortly. The first election call will be for that of Board Liaison. This call will be followed three weeks later by a second election call for the other liaison positions (GNSO, ccNSO, NCUC, SSAC, IDN issues) and the ALAC appointment to the dotMobi Policy Advisory Board. It is necessary to take account of the problems which we have as regards connectivity, of access... It is also necessary to take account of the linguistic factor for the francophile ones. Another factor relates to sharing information at the local and national level. ALs must under discussion share the topics on the mailing lists members at the local and national level. The feedback of the members is very slow or then at all. I think that it is necessary initially proceeded by recalls. Dear All, As i promised on last AfRALO Teleconferences, please find attached my proposed document on AfRALO active participation document,The main objective this document is to list the available AfRALO participation channels and tools ( e.g AfRALO teleconferences, AfRALO mailing list, ..ect ), and set a minimum participation criteria for the participation of AfRALO members in order to encourage an active participation in ICANN policy development processes. This document can be provided also to new African ALS to provide information on how to participate within AfRALO. Attached is the same English document translated to French .
