An At-Large Community wide teleconference where Candidates introduce themselves and answer questions from members. 2. Teleconference Mark your calendar! An At-Large Community wide teleconference will be held on Tuesday, 14 February 2017 13:00-15:00 UTC for the Community to meet the Candidates and ask questions about their vision about At-Large, ICANN, the Board and beyond. If you cannot attend, recording and transcript will be made available via the At-Large Board Member Selection wiki<https://community.icann.org/x/3bTDAw>. Questions & Answers Wiki Workspace Before and after the At-Large Community wide teleconference on Tuesday, 14 February 2017, the At-Large Community will have two windows of opportunity to ask Candidates questions and view their responses in written form. BCEC Announces the Final Slate of ICANN Board Director Candidates Selected by the At-Large Community

Dear All, The optional Regional At-Large Organization (RALO) petition process<https://atlarge.icann.org/news/announcement-987-2016-12-19-en> in the ICANN Board Director selection did not result in any successful petition to add names to the BCEC Slate of Candidates and this stage of the process has now concluded. Hence, the Final Slate of Candidates, who were selected by the BCEC<https://atlarge.icann.org/news/announcement-985-2016-12-16-en> and will go forward to the next stage of the selection process organized by the Board Member Selection Process Committee (BMSPC), are (listed in alphabetical order of the last name): * Alan Greenberg (Canada) * Leon Felipe Sanchez Ambia (Mexico) EoIs of the Final Slate of Candidates You may view the EoIs (with personal and private information removed) of the Final Slate of Candidates HERE<https://community.icann.org/x/N6bDAw>. Next Steps In the coming weeks before the start of the final election, the BMSPC will organize activities and mechanisms that facilitate the interactions between the At-Large Community Members and the Final Slate of Candidates. The methods of interaction will incorporate input from ALAC Members, RALO members, and the Final Slate of Candidates themselves. The BMSPC will announce the planned interactions in due course. Dear EURALO members, On 5 January 2017, ALAC Member Veronica Cretu representing EURALO notified EURALO Chair Olivier Crépin-Leblond of her resignation due to other activities. EURALO's Chair and Secretariat would like to announce a call for nominations to fill her vacant ALAC seat. The nomination period will start TODAY January 16 until 27 January 2017 - (nominations accepted for 10 working days). Please note the following: 1. All nominees are expected to submit a brief statement explaining why they believe they are a suitable candidate and must also complete or update their Statement of Interest (see: At-Large New SOIs Workspace). 2. No one who is currently serving on the Nominating Committee may be nominated for the ALAC. See https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/governance/bylaws-en#VII-8 3. According to EURALO By-Laws, article 11.5.10 Electing the ALAC members representing Europe<https://community.icann.org/display/EURALO/Articles+of+Association>.
