Dear All, Further to the recent EURALO Board call for candidates, we have a total of five candidates who have been nominated/self-nominated and who have all accepted their nominations. Outreach with communities outside ICANN Please note the rules and agreements applicable to this election (see document attached). In accordance with these agreements, kindly note: 1. The size of the EURALO Board will be 2-5 members, plus ex-officio, the EURALO Chair and EURALO Secretary; 2. There should be a maximum limit of 1 Board member per country; 3. As is the usual custom in votes involving people, votes will take place by secret ballot; 4. The Board will be selected for a two-years-term; non performing Board members can be recalled after one year to allow to be replaced by better candidates. The EURALO Board should be balanced but EURALO has not reached a consensus on having direct absolute criteria for geographical (East/Western Europe) or gender criteria. As geographical and gender balance are important in our region, we ask you to consider these issues when making your selection. Youth report from ICANN83

Hi everyone, I brought a young person with me to the meeting, because I think we need fresh input from the generation, which will suffer from our decisions. The document is attached (local language and English). Such a report is expected for each of the - possibly - further invitations of young people. In my mind, I'd like to reach out the schools in the conference town about two months before each meeting and ask for about 15-20 pupils with reasonable knowledge in English as well as interest in politics. It's important to broaden the audience to cover more than the academics, but reach the "ordinary" people. They have a quite different view: Please notice the introduction, where the common sense of "Internet" is defined by "wifi and social media". It might be concerning that the large content providers are dominating the Internet, so that all your discussion points might become irrelevant, if they choose to switch to a different underlying technology ... Oksana participated in the EURALO Bylaws Taskforce, as well as in the EURALO Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) Working Group. Thank you. I'm pleased to serve - if you want - for a future term. Personally I was not always able to fulfil the expectations, especially the regular calls were often difficult to attend. My situation has changed a bit, so I have more time for ICANN, even the possibility to attend at meetings in person. Hopefully I can improve my contribution. Work and affiliation are the same as the last thirty years, but the children are grown up now (hopefully). Hence my interest move more to the younger generation: those who are in the final years of their school. Those pupils have a different understanding of "Internet": It's an integral part of their life. But I think we do not understand anymore, what they are need and how they are use the Internet. But we need to develop policies now, which will be effective ten years in their future. Those policies are not relevant for us (old grumpy guys) anymore. See you in Prague

Since ICANN78 in Hamburg, I’ve been an active contributor to EURALO. I have supported the ICANN booths during ICANN78, ICANN 81 and other IGF meetings, engaging with newcomers and raising awareness of At-Large work. I have also assisted the EURALO Secretariat in the past in preparing the post-ICANN readout reports, contributing to knowledge-sharing and outreach. Beyond that, I’ve engaged in ICANN policy spaces (ALAC, NCUC, NCSG) and contributed effectively to working groups and comments, ALAC Community Engagement Subcommittee’s anti-phishing course, and recently served as an ICANN82 Fellow. My background also includes Youth IGF and Internet Governance fellowships from prestigious think tanks like Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG), Germany and digital policy research focused on sustainability and digital economics.
