Dear All, On behalf of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, we would like to inform you of three webinars related to the Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability (CCWG) 2nd Draft Report (Work Stream 1). Background: The CCWG-Accountability published its 2nd Draft Proposal on Work Stream 1 Recommendations for 40-day public comment on 3 August 2015. Community feedback is requested on this draft proposal of proposed enhancements to ICANN's accountability framework that the CCWG-Accountability has identified as essential to happen or be committed to before the IANA Stewardship Transition takes place. The ALAC is drafting a statement (see At-Large Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability 2nd Draft Report (Work Stream 1) Workspace<https://community.icann.org/display/alacpolicydev/At-Large+Cross+Community+…> In order to learn more about the CCWG 2nd Draft Report (Work Stream 1) and provide information on the draft ALAC Statement, you are encouraged to participate in either Webinar 1 or 2 plus Webinar 3 as outlined below: Webinar Information: 1. At-Large Briefing on the 2nd Draft CCWG-Accountability Proposal An At-Large Briefing on the key aspects of the 2nd Draft CCWG-Accountability Proposal with a focus on how it impacts the At-Large community, will be held on Monday, 24 August. The presenter will be León Sánchez, ALAC Member and CCWG Co-Chair. This webinar will also include a question and answer session. French, Portuguese and Spanish interpretation will be provided. [EN] Dear RALO Leaders and Members, The 2nd Draft Report of the Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability (CCWG Accountability) is now seeking comments. Its Public Comment period<https://community.icann.org/x/a45CAw> will end in 29 days (15 September 2015). T he 2nd Draft Report is available in two forms: 1) Full version: https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/ccwg-draft-2-proposal-work-stre…; 2) section by section: https://community.icann.org/x/pKs0Aw. This Public Comment is of pivotal importance and the ALAC will be submitting a Statement. To ensure we engage as widely as possible as the statement is drafted, the ALAC is eager to hear from ALSes and individual members across the five RALOs to gather input. To facilitate that, we encourage you to incorporate the CCWG Accountability 2nd Draft Report as an agenda item in your RALO’s upcoming monthly teleconference in August.
