Dear Roberto, hi! Thanks for the focus of attention. Guess many of us will agree with me - EURALO is a very good example of being very welcoming for the next generation and new members. I fully support you and my colleagues and say that this year's EURALO plans are to hold a round table based on selected NextGen project topics and with the involvement of NextGen & experts from the region to discuss the proposed topics, important for the European region and end users. It seems to me that this idea, which is already in the plan of implementation, is a good continuation of the dialogue, emphasizing attention to ideas and involvement in communication on a practical level. Dear all, Unfortunately, I will not be able to join ICANN86 in Sevilla, but I will attend remotely most of it. I would like to draw your attention, in particular to - but not limited to - those of you attending in person to the sessions that involve NextGen participants. I believe that it is of the paramount importance to meet with younger generations, not just for our benefit in understanding better how newcomers view the ICANN ecosystem, but also to make them feel that this community is eager to meet them and to communicate. Dear Roberto, Thank you for brininging this up. You remind me we need to constantly put effort into newcomer engagement. As a recent newcomer myself, I came up with the Buddy project I would like to start piloting, and received amazing feedback from the EURALO community, as well as my mentor Glen. The idea is to build pairs of people with similar interests and backgrounds so they can learn alongside, and is based on my outtakes from the Policy Development Accelerator.
