Dear EURALO Members, On behalf of the EURALO Chair, Sébastien Bachollet and Secretariat, Natalia Filina, and in accordance with EURALO’s NEW ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION<https://community.icann.org/display/EURALO/FINAL+DRAFT+EURALO+Articles+of+A…>, this is the second announcement of the EURALO Hybrid General Assembly 2024 <https://icann81.sched.com/event/1p2C1/at-large-euralo-hybrid-general-assemb…> to be held on Tuesday 12 November 2024 between 13:30-14:30 UTC (16:30-17:30 TRT). The agenda has been posted on the EURALO Hybrid General Assembly 2024<https://community.icann.org/x/TQCaFg> wiki page. Please be so kind as to review the agenda<https://community.icann.org/x/TQCaFg> and be prepared to participate! ATTENDANCE: Please complete the Google form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-0E2ekTRxn5oLTyOBYG0T9DOXptI6AmoN4qyGWDpSK…> to confirm your attendance or send an apology. NOTE – IF an apology and appointing a Proxy, please note Proxy on the Google form AND complete the attached proxy form (as per the EURALO Articles of Association – see hereafter). At this stage you have THREE options for participation at this General Assembly: 1. In person (but no travel funding for this event) 2. Remote – zoom room will be posted 24h prior to the session 3. Send an apology, in which case you may nominate a PROXY (document attached) to represent you. A proxy will need to confirm participation in the General Assembly either in person or remote. Please note that in order to achieve quorum at the General Assembly, it is important for you to take action on one of the three options above! In order to nominate a proxy, please send your proxy document by email with the subject line PROXY EURALO Hybrid GA 2024 to EURALO’s Chair at sebicann(a)bachollet.fr<mailto:sebicann@bachollet.fr>, Secretariat at filinafilka(a)gmail.com<mailto:filinafilka@gmail.com> and At-Large staff at staff(a)atlarge.icann.org<mailto:staff@atlarge.icann.org>, appointing the proxy. Kindly note that according to the new EURALO Articles of Association, Proxies may only validly be appointed by a notice in writing (a “proxy notice”) which: 1. states the name and address of the Member appointing the proxy; 2. identifies the person appointed to be that Member’s proxy and the General Assembly in relation to which that person is appointed; 3. is signed by or on behalf of the Member appointing the proxy, or is authenticated in such manner as the Board may determine; and is delivered to the General Assembly in accordance with the articles and any instructions contained in the notice of the General Assembly to which they relate. As per practice in past General Assemblies, there will be a maximum of two proxies possible per member participating in the GA and staff will inform you if a nominated proxy has exceeded their vote allocation and suggest alternatives.
