Hi Keith & Fellow Councilors: I see we have a little time in Kobe with the Co-chairs of the RPMs PDP. Here are three questions that I think would be helpful to ask them while they are with us: 1. Can you commit to a February 2020 deadline to complete Phase 1? 2. How has the complaint filed by Greg S. against George K. affected your work? 3. How has the 3 co-chair model worked out for Phase 1? I think these question are helpful for us as a Council to understand where we are in Phase 1 and to best prepare for Phase 2. I'm hoping no one will have an objection to these 3 and Staff can drop them into whatever materials/slides they are preparing for the session. Best, Paul Paul D. Expression of Interest (EOI) Notice for EPDP WG Phase 2 Chair

Hi all, Following two Council leadership calls this week, we have finalized the attached Expression of Interest (EOI) for the EPDP WG Phase 2 Chair. This will be posted tomorrow and the deadline for responses will be March 22. Our goal is to confirm the new Chair during our April 18 Council meeting. We wanted to be sure to get this posted as soon as possible and certainly in advance of Kobe. The substance of the EOI is the same as the version we used for Phase One. In the interim transition period, while we find a permanent Chair, Rafik will be Acting Chair. Thanks, Keith

Request for consent agenda item - Approval of the final report of the CSC Effectiveness Review

Colleagues, This is a request for an item under the consent agenda for the approval of the final report of the CSC Effectiveness Review at our Kobe meeting. The draft motion is attached. As you may recall our discussion during our Council Strategic Planning Session, this is a joint effort between the GSNO and the ccNSO. The rationale for a consent agenda item is that in light of the RT findings, the presentation of the initial report and the public comments received, this should be non-controversial. Given that the ccNSO is also expected to vote on this in Kobe, it’d be good to wrap this up before the IANA naming function review. You will note that there’s a placeholder for the link of the final report, to be provided in due time. The changes compared to the initial report are minimal and intended to accommodate the comments received. Happy to answer questions.
