An independent committee selected the NextGen@ICANN72 participants based on their current studies and interest in global policy and Internet governance. Read more. One year later, I'm happy to report that we now have seventeen ccTLDs included in DAAR. Lithuania (.li) was the most recent to join. Read More. Sessions will be held once or twice a week to accommodate the schedules of students and young professionals. Participants will be expected to complete preparatory work between sessions. The final day of the academy will be a hybrid event in South Korea. Applications are due by Sunday, 8 August 2021. Please note that a stable Internet connection is required for participation. The community-nominated selection committee will be responsible for overseeing the mentor selection process. Communities may choose to appoint program alumni and are encouraged to appoint active community members who have an interest in mentoring students.
