As part of the review, the RWP would like to make sure that the GNSO Council is aware of the progress of the NomCom review: the assessment report <https://community.icann.org/x/USJyB> has been published (also attached); a translation of the report’s executive summary will be made available in the coming days on the review wiki page <https://community.icann.org/x/USJyB>. In this context, the RWP would like to encourage all GNSO members to provide the independent examiner with feedback, comments, and questions you may have with regard to the assessment report. Dear all, According the charter (https://community.icann.org/x/zb-Raw) of the GNSO Standing Selection Committee (SSC), “The membership is expected to be confirmed by each Stakeholder Group and Constituency and the nominating committee appointees within 3 weeks after the end of the ICANN AGM.” This process has been completed. The Standing Selection Committee has reconfirmed Susan Kawaguchi to continue serving as Chair and Maxim Alzoba to continue serving as Vice-Chair. The GNSO Council's January meeting will take place during a face-to-face strategic planning session on Tuesday, 30 January. We are working towards developing Council's comments in due time for the document deadline for that meeting, with a view to putting them to a vote at the meeting. We would then require an additional few days to handle any administrative matters following on from the Council meeting to ensure that the version submitted is final and agreed per Council procedures.
